Athlete's Foot

How Do We Cure Athlete's Foot?

Proper Footwear

Always wear cotton socks to avoid excessive sweatiness. Alternate at least two pairs of shoes to dry out remaining sweat before wearing them again. Dry water-soaked shoes under direct sunlight.

Topical Antifungal Medication

Antifungal lotions, creams and ointments are usually enough to control breakouts and heal existing breakouts.

Oral Antifungal Medication

Some instances of athlete's foot respond better to oral antifungal medication such as Paravex.

Antibiotics

Antibiotics may be prescribed for more severe breakouts, especially those with blisters and bleeding involved.
